Service and community involvement have always been important to Dooa. The Dooa Foundation expands on these philanthropic values, allowing for greater reach to help those most in need.

Led by Mrs Surjeet Dooa, the Dooa Foundation has been established to continue her late husband’s legacy of charitable giving. The Dooa Foundation represents the formalised strategies to distribute revenue on an annual basis to causes committed to the betterment of society in the UK and around the globe, through focused charitable giving in the areas of education, health, and the community.

Areas of particular focus include:

• food banks and soup kitchens
• medical and social care for vulnerable children and individuals
• access to education
• emergency aid for disaster relief
• promotion of interfaith dialogue and harmony

The board of professional Trustees oversees the operation of The Dooa Foundation and is closely involved in all funding initiatives and charitable distributions.
